THE RISE

History and the Bible foretell of many periods where sexual immorality was on the rise in society. As surprising as it may seem, the rising rates of homosexuality, adultery and hookup sex we see in society today are nothing new. But what happened to those movements and why did they die off, do we really know? Through brain research we can now better understand the changes that are happening in the brain's wiring during sex and drug use. Sexual orientation is a very sensitive topic today and I am not addressing this because any kind of hate, but rather compassion as you will see. If we can better understand how the brain changes during sex, we can better educate our youth to the potential consequences of different types of sexual activity. We warn our children about the effects of drugs and alcohol on the brain, but what about the effects of sex on the brain? What if it can be proven that people are not actually born gay, but rather their brains are changed through experience. If research does prove that is true, then we must address this topic as a means of protecting children. If you are not open to share an intelligient conversation about how our brain actually works, you might be sciencephobic or afraid of the truth. The human brain is a highly engineered processing system of over 80 billion neurons making 60 trillion highly organized connections. The total processing power of the brain is greater than 34,000 computer processors (see Brain maps), making the brain the most sophisticated electronics system on the planet. Do we really think we can know how the brain works without understanding its design? Is it safe for governments to create laws about things they don't fully understand? How can anyone really know how the brain works without understanding all that circuitry? According to respected physicist Richard P. Feynman.

Despite what some people may think, a "gay gene" has never been found.

A new study published in Science, thought to be the most comprehensive on the topic, adds important information to that back-and-forth. After studying the DNA of nearly half a million people with varying sexual experiences, the researchers found no evidence of a single “gay gene.” There was some genetic association with self-reported same-sex sexual activity, but environmental factors likely play an even larger role, according to the study. -Time Magazine Aug 29,2019

While research has shown that it is difficult for someone who is already involved in the gay lifestyle to change their sexual preference, research has also shown how difficult it is for someone who is a drug addict to withdraw from heroin. Once our brain changes through experience, we are no longer who we were when we were born, our brain is constantly changing. There are many brain regions involved in attraction and addiction and make up what is called the basal ganglia or reward system of the brain. These regions process our experiences, creating new circuitry that actually cause us to love our children, pets, spouse, partner etc. The brain records pleasurable and painful experiences by actually changing the wiring in our reward and aversion system.

Because drugs like heroin are firing the same circuits that fire during sexual arousal, and for longer periods of time, we can see the power this circuitry has to control our behavior. So in effect, drug users are actually being wired to "love" the drug. Heroin users even report that they can smell heroin in the air, where a non user cannot. We know from drug addiction that the user is being "changed" by the effects the drug has on the mind, enhancing the person's attraction, through all our senses, to what previously led to pleasure. But even though we are born with opioid receptors, we would not say that someone is born to be an addict. Rather, we understand that through the experience, when any signal reaches the lateral hypothalamus causing euphoria, the brain is recording all the signals coming from our senses at the time. Brain research can now show us physically what's happening in our mind during drug use and sex. As signals pass through the basal ganglia, they may reach laterial hypothalamus, where the powerful addictive neurotransmitter Orexon is released.

Intraspecies social interactions are integral for survival and maintenance of society among all mammalian species. Yet, our understanding of the neural systems and mechanisms involved in the establishment of social connectedness are limited. Since their initial discovery as regulators of sleep/wakefulness and appetite in the brain, the hypocretin/orexin neurons have also been shown to play an essential role in modulating energy homeostasis, motivated and emotional behavior. -Sex-dependent role of hypocretin/orexin neurons in social behavior

The hypothalamic neuropeptide orexin mediates arousal, sleep, and naturally rewarding behaviors, including food intake. Male sexual behavior is altered by orexin receptor-1 agonists or antagonists, suggesting a role for orexin-A in this naturally rewarding behavior - Orexin mediates initiation of sexual behavior

This neurotransmitter is released through circuits controlled by the lateral hypothalamus to enhance our senses to the things it remembered during a pleasurable experience. Because the lateral hypothalamus also controls our hunger and thirst, it is in the perfect position to control our appetite for sex. Oxytocin is another neurotransmitter involved in creating bonding relationships and is released in high levels during sex and orgasm (Oxytocin and Social Bonds). Oxytocin works to bond a person to their friend, parent, children, pet or sex partner by increasing our sensory connectivity circuits in the orbital cortex to that partner. The sensory perception of what a person looks like, smells like, sounds like, etc. is remembered and enhanced so that when we see them we start producing more oxytocin and that makes us feel good. So here we have two powerful, brain changing chemicals that can modify our brain wiring through experience. The Bible refers to these physical changes that control our brain as our "flesh".

Ephesians 2:3
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

Matthew 19:4-6
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

From a biblical perspective, we are warned that homosexuality is a consequence of sinful behavior and there is a promise that would prevent anyone from becoming gay.

Deuteronomy 7:12-15
If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. The Lord will keep you free from every disease.

This is one of the biblical promises that God makes to those who choose to obey him. Homosexuality and sexual immorality, according to the Bible, are simply the result of sin, even the sins of parents. The Bible makes it clear that it's not by design for any man or women to be born homosexual, but rather tells us it is a result of our choices and even effected by our parents sins. Despite a lack of scientific proof that people are actually born gay, many people today do believe that homosexuals are simply born that way. According to the research I have studied, there is no proven evidence to support this claim. All of the studies on homosexuality I have reviewed are on those who are already gay. While it may be difficult to change one's sexual preference, just as it is difficult to end addictions, it does not mean that anyone is born that way. What research does show us is how any sexual experience can create physical changes in the brain, just like the Bible has warned us over 3500 years ago? Once someone experiences their first orgasm, they can't unlearn it and now they will try to seek out their next. Your lateral hypothalamus is now in control. But according to scripture, there is a way to remove this hypothalamic control and we see proof of this whenever someone can overcome addiction.

Romans 7:17
As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

What we need to understand here is that the brain circuitry changes based on experience, you can't easy unexperience something. Sex and drugs produce the highest levels of bonding chemicals Oxytocin and Orexon. So we understand we have a better understanding of how attraction and arousal work. But what about the opposite effect? How does the brain wire in what we dislike or want to avoid? Research shows another pathway where attraction to the opposite sex could be wired as a non rewarding or punishing behavior. Neuroscience research shows us how children, while watching the relationship between their parents, are sensing the reward value of that relationship, just by looking at the facial expressions and body language of each parent. This subconscious sense comes from our mirror neurons and our facial expression processing system in the temporal lobe. We talk about this in the End of Evolution section. Because this is a subconscious learning system, we might not realize the messages that we are sending to others who are watching our behavior. The way this reward system works, the child is unaware that they are even receiving them. For example, if a male child watches as his mother is always quarrelling and degrading his father, his father's facial expressions are not going to send a message that having a wife is rewarding. This can instill a fear of marriage in a child without them even understanding why they are not attracted to the opposite sex. This circuit is part of a region called the rostral tegmental. Bible prophecy tells us that children will suffer due to the sins of their parents. This is part of the 1st commandment in Exodus 20. Some males are void of their father's approval and attention; this condition is also suspected to have an effect on the development of the child.

The way I understand the brain, there needs to be more research on this topic because we may be putting children at risk. When we look at the brain maps, we see how little most people understand about our brain. Since they don't know how it's wired, they actually think it could have evolved. This is the fault of how science is taught in schools today. But

Using the brain maps, we can now finally begin to understand how attraction and addiction work in the mind. I think everyone would agree that the human brain changes based on experiences over time, it is well studied in neuroscience. People fall in love, so how does that change in the brain happen? People become addicted to drugs, but yet they were not born addicted. So we have plenty of evidence that shows us how experience changes our brain.

What we must understand is that bonding, fear and arousal are part of the brain's reward system and programmed through learned behavior, not biology. Although some learned behavior is subconscious, what we love or who we are attracted to, is a direct result of our choices and our experiences.

While the origins of homosexuality are not clearly understood, brain research and Biblical wisdom show us that it's probable that homosexuality is spreading in society in ways that people might not understand. Governments need to protect their citizens until they have all the facts, and not base their judgements on their own personal feelings. Let's consider the example from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. From the story, we know that all the men in Sodom, except Lot, became homosexuals at one point. This would eliminate any genetic basis if 99% of the men were homosexual but would be an absolute indicator of a condition that can be spread.

Genesis 19:4-5
Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

The story seems to show us that homosexuality spreads by behavior of homosexuals molesting a non homosexual. So we can see how it spreads but there is no mention in this story about how homosexuality actually started. This Bible verse hidden in the book of Ezekiel opens the possibility that the brain research I just mentioned might be the originating cause.

Ezekiel 16:49
“Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned

So the Bible supports the brain research that shows how mirror neurons could cause men to be turned off by arrogant mother/women at a young age and see marriage as a non rewarding life choice. Here are many Bible verses to warn us against sexual sins.

Leviticus 19:29
“Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness.

Isaiah 9:18
Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns (see The Allegories), it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upward in a column of smoke. 

Leviticus 18:1-5
Unlawful Sexual Relations: The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God. You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God. Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord.

Leviticus 18:22-25
Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.  Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.... for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men.

1 Timothy 1:9-11
We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

Proverbs 23:26-28
My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways, for an adulterous woman is a deep pit, and a wayward wife is a narrow well. Like a bandit she lies in wait and multiplies the unfaithful among men.

Back in time of ancient Israel, when the nation was obeying God, sexual immorality was at a low point. The punishment for these behaviors was death which would surely deter anyone from starting a bad trend. That seems pretty extreme and cruel, but it took me many years of brain research, and even a life experience I had when I was younger, to understand how this behavior can spread. Especially when there is no punishment to wire in a circuit to resist temptations if the behavior is accepted as "normal". Yes, there is a "fear of God" circuit which runs through the Amygdala into the Lateral Habenula (LHb) to control the production of dopamine which helps us to resist temptations. See End of Evolution. 

Exodus 20:20
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

Deuteronomy 18:9
When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.

Ezekiel 23:48
“So I will put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not imitate you.

 So the Lord, the engineer of our minds, warns us that this is how the nations in the past became defiled and how entire societies fell apart. If people were born to be sexually immoral there would be no warning necessary, because it would be out of our control. It is dangerous for governments to make laws pertaining to homosexuality when nobody understands how it spreads. The Bible tells us that sexual immorality is a behavior that is learned and will be imitated by others. This is backed up by brain research and by history if we do our research. This is poor government and will surely lead to disastrous consequences, as has happened throughout history. The Lord also threatens nations who disobey his laws that he will pour out his wrath on them, as we see the Coronavirus and other disasters happening right around the time that sexual immorality is spreading like a fire. Once we lose the fear of the warning, the fear that blocks the dopamine which we spoke about in other sections, then sexual immorality will spread throughout a nation as we are seeing in America today.

So if there really is a heaven and hell, then you have to understand that I am your friend by telling you this. Society today shows us that Jesus had a most difficult task in delivering his message. He had to tell people they were sinning against the commandments of God and that was the root cause of their suffering. He did not tell them to be "who they are", because who they had become was evil to God the Father. Jesus tells us that we can only be saved if we repent and change "who we are", to stop sinning and be "born again" of a new spirit. But that's not the same message many of us hear in the churches today, which is why society has fallen so far away. But this is the truth, the people hated Jesus so much for his words, that they sentenced him to death. Just as they would do again today to anyone who calls homosexuals, the sexually immoral and adulterers, sinners.

Mark 9:43
If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.

John 15:22
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

 

Young Homosexuals and the Sexually Immoral can be Predators. My Personal Experience.

Society seems to focus on adults molesting children as a crime, but what about when children molest other children? For example, when I was a young teen, I recall three times that I was being persuaded by another young boy to engage in some form of homosexual behavior, all of which I refused and stopped associating with those boys shortly after. Back in my high school days, you would get beat up if you were gay, so there was definitely a fear associated with the behavior. I think two of them were just curious heterosexual boys looking to experience something new, not realizing that it could effect them in more ways than they know. But one was very different and I will share it in order to help parents be more aware. I was walking home from a friends house one day and I met another boy outside his home playing hockey. He asked me if I wanted to play so I agreed and we played for a few hours. Then he asked me if I wanted to stay for dinner. I didn't know this boy too well but we were having fun and I called my parents and they said it was OK. After dinner, we were watching TV in his basement when he ask me if I wanted to have anal sex with him. He said he and his brothers do it all the time and it was "fun". When I said no, he continued to try to persuade me and even claimed that my best friend and him do it a lot. I didn't believe him and knew I had to get out of there so I left and never stopped at that boy's house again. I told my best friend what his neighbor said and he vehemently denied it and I later found out he punched the kid out for spreading that kind of rumor. Now that I understand how the brain works, I am thankful that I had the fear I needed to get out of there. I can tell you firsthand that homosexuals, male and female, can be very persuasive, even to the point of rape. In Eve Ensler's play, The Vagina Monologues, one skit depicts a 24 year old lesbian getting a 13 year old girl drunk, then performing oral sex on her. Then the 13 year old girl said "It was a good rape". In other words it was "fun". Obviously it was a learned experience that changed her by the Orexin and Oxytocin networks. Here is a quote from the play.

"Afterwards the gorgeous lady teaches me everything about my Coochi Snorcher. She makes me play with myself in front of her and she teaches me all the different ways to give myself pleasure. She’s very thorough. She tells me to always know how to give myself pleasure so I’ll never need to rely on a man. In the morning I am worried that I’ve become a butch because I’m so in love with her"  -The Vagina Monologues official script on MIT's website.

Revelation 2:20
Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.

The worst part of all of this from a brain control perspective is that raping a 13year old girl and, other lesbian behavior, is cheered for by millions of college women each year during their V-Day celebration. Firing their mirror neurons and subconsciously programming the behavior as "good" to all the girls watching. Whenever we experience a sexual act that fires our lateral hypothalmus, our brain programs itself to remember anything that produces such high levels of dopamine, creating an addiction and leading to a return to the behavior. The same circuitry that fires during an orgasm is the same circuitry that fires when one is addicted to heroin, it's just that heroin makes that feeling last much longer; meaning that it's much more addictive. Brain research shows that neurons that fire together become wired together, so whenever that circuit in our lateral hypothalamus is firing the brain starts building connections to all your sensory inputs that are firing during that period and they will later cause arousal. So what you see, smell, feel, taste and hear all become enhanced during the experience. As a brain circuit engineer, I now understand the Lord's plan for the system which is the same system that bonds a man and woman together and creates the desire to reproduce and have children. But the wrong inputs can lead to other addictions that will not lead to reproduction of the species. When that happens, the species eventually weakens and and dies. So all humans become addicted to the sensory inputs that produced the reward and those inputs become enhances each time the reward (pleasure) is obtained. Surprisingly, heroin users can actually smell heroin in the air where a non user can't. This demonstrates how the brain works and why there are so many warnings against all kinds of sexual immorality in scripture.

1 Corinthians 6:16
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”

This bonding circuit is what wires us together, which is why scripture give us this warning. The Lord's promise to Israel was that if they followed his commands, they would increase rapidly in number. So he foretold and warned them about the type of behaviors will weaken and eventually destroy them The biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah provides a lesson on how far sexual immorality can spread inside a community. In Sodom, almost all the men became homosexuals because they were sodomizing all the other men against their will, that is how the story is told. There is a lot more to the story that provoked the men to be homosexuals like this verse from Ezekiel. It doesn't sound like men would find these women attractive.

Romans 1:21-32
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Revelation 2:20

Jeremiah 5:7-9
“Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes. They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife. Should I not punish them for this?” declares the Lord. “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?

When I started investigating, I saw that there was definitely an agenda out there to indoctrinate children into homosexuality - see Former Lesbian and Teacher Fights Homosexual Agenda in Schools. This is reason enough for the Lord to bring a plague upon all of us. Even governments are forcing schools to adopt their gay agenda polices. But after the Coronavirus hit, the children are now safe at home.

Jude 4
For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality

One highly recognized CEO actually went public to help young children adapt the gay lifestyle by claiming that his homosexuality was "God's greatest gift to him" (see video). He obviously knows nothing about our God who says, "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable" and "don't do anything to make your neighbor stumble into sin".

He wrote: “If hearing that the CEO of Apple is gay can help someone struggling to come to terms with who he or she is, or bring comfort to anyone who feels alone, or inspire people to insist on their equality, then it’s worth the trade-off with my own privacy.

According to Christ, his god is Satan.

John 8:41-4
You are doing the works of your own father.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

What he or she looks like, is a matter of biology, who he or she is now (or has become) is a matter of choices and experiences. People like this are working with LGBTQ organizations and donating millions of dollars to push the homosexual agenda into schools. This will certainly bring about God's wrath. Anyone who claims that God approves of homosexuality is guilty of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God.

Matthew 12:31
And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

There was also a book written that provided a roadmap for homosexuals to follow to use psychologically proven techniques to desensitize the population to accept homosexuality. The book was titled "After the Ball") and it began the homosexual propaganda campaign to desensitize America. The techniques described in this book are some of the proven techniques of deception that we speak about in our brain research.
So by taking away a young a child's fear, they can be lured into a behavior that will forever change them.  Brain research shows that nobody is born gay, nor are they born addicted to drugs.  But based on experiences they can be addicted to either.  Gay young men can be predators in luring other young boys into sexual acts which this book is encouraging them to do. 1. It is openly admitted that homosexuality is often a choice.

2. that those in their 20s, 30s, etc. groom younger males to join the homosexual lifestyle. This is what the entire sexual abuse scandal among Catholic priests was, homosexual priests preying on teenage boys or young adult seminarians. That crisis was not a pedophile crisis, but a homosexual crisis.

Brain research proves that any sexual experience that fires the reward circuits, especially the lateral hypothalamus, will be recorded (by making new wired connections) if the person is sober, which leads to changes in what we desire. The Bible calls this bonding state "one flesh" and brain research proves that humans are designed to bond. 

Matthew 19:4-6
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Nobody would say that someone is born to love heroin. However, once they try it they will be temped to use it again and again because it wires in changes to the brain's sensory processing systems. Heroin fires the same circuits that produce an orgasm which, by design, bonds men to the woman they are with, through the Orexin system in the lateral hypothalamus. (See Orexin regulates arousal) Heroin uses the same circuits to create an addiction so we can easily see how our choices can addict us to anything that causes arousal. Technically speaking, the heroin user is actually in love with the drug the way the brain wires it. This orexin system controls our sensory processing to increase sensitity to the sensory inputs during the state of arousal. (smells, see, touch, taste, feel). They now have a constant temptation that didn't exist before they tried it once. The circuits to bond us work the same with anything that fires our lateral hypothalamus, so we need to protect children from experimenting with things that they can later become addicted to, including drugs and homosexuality. At least warn them about this and when they are older they can better decide on something that will effect their entire life. They are children, it is our job as adults to protect them not to encourage them to be sexually immoral at a young age, with the opposite sex or the same sex. Instead of teaching high school children about homosexuality and using peer pressure to make them accept it as normal (what happend to the separation of church and state here?), we should be teaching them the benifits of absence till marriage.  Waiting till they are older and find the right partner, the most important decision in their lives.

Gay Pride Parades Foretold in Scripture

Isaiah 3:9-11 The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done.

Here again we see the same subconscious temptation happening. "the look on their faces" testifies against them. Any child watching would likely believe that this behavior is "good". They don't have the look of shame on their faces but rather joy.  By understanding how the brain works we can now expose the truth of how people actually become homosexual through changes by experience, even though they might not understand what's happening in their mind.  This is why we need to protect children and not expose them to any kind of sexual immorality at a young age.

Jeremiah 6:15
Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when I punish them,” says the Lord.

Can Homosexuals Change?

Based on brain research and the Bible, changing your sexual preference is definitely possible. Just like people do overcome addiction one can overcome their sexual addictions as well.  It's all the same circuitry.  The difference with drug addiction is that everyone agrees that it's bad so there is a fear and reinforcement from peers that helps with the process. But if you tell someone that they are born that way and they believe it, they can't change.  The fear of the Lord is the strongest force we have to help us change. So when religion goes bad and preaches a God who loves everyone unconditionally, sin will spread. Remember this verse.

Exodus 20:20
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

Ephesians 2:1-4
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

So if you really do "Believe" in Jesus, then it is possible to repent and be changed.

Now I will also give a warning to everyone who tolerates homosexuality and sexual immorality, even if you do not participate in the act yourself.  You will be guilty of sin by not rebuking your neighbor and causing your neighbor to stumble. If you accept homosexuality as normal or something one is "born with", then you will share in their guilt.
